Cérebro S.A. was born in April 1999 as a limited company and, from August 2000 on became an incorporated company with the aim to make available engineering technologies and information in the area of fluid processes equipment. For this, its founder, Eng. Edimilson Souza - company Superintendent Director, spent twuelve years performing experiments and practical applications in top industries, dedicating other three years exclusively to the improvement of calculations techniques and technologies. In this period, besides the courses of Post-Graduation, Master Degree and MBA he also realized researches when parallelly actuated in the academic activity as a university professor and with his entrepreneurial activity, always accompanied by highly specialized professionals of the area.

The results of this intense work are last generation softwares, compatible with world-wide standards, renowned and used by the sector. They are integrated systems, unique in the world that, based on simple design information, produce wide reports with the respective results of calculations and schematic drawings of the equipment in question.

The professionals that developed the Cérebro softwares are responsible for hundreds of engineering works in Brazil and Latin America, for industries in the segment of beverage, juice, food, pharmaceutical products, meatpacking, cosmetic, chemical, petro-chemical, dairy products, paper and cellulose, hygiene and cleaning, among others. The market of tanks with agitation in Brazil has been entirely changed in the past fifteen years in several sectors in the industry of process of fluids for turbulent and laminar regime. In great deal, it has happened due to the techniques and studies accomplished by Engineer Edimilson Souza.

The energy consumption was drastically optimized, allied to a high mixture efficiency, besides the incorporation of economical constructive aspects, considerably diminishing the process time, increasing the quality of the goods.

From 1997 on, Engineer Edimilson Souza started to dedicate himself only to the refining and elaboration of his calculation techniques with the aim to make available to the world-wide market his calculation techniques and tecnologies, leaving the equipment manufacturing after having conquered the leadership of the sector.
